In Summary:
The federal government has declared an (unfunded) mandate that all dams need to have fish ladders.
The 3 dam operators in Goffstown (Hadley Falls in downtown, Greg Falls at Glen Lake , and Kelley Falls at Namaske lake) have decided that this would be cost prohibitive and will be terminating their leases.
If new agreeable dam operators cannot be found then state and federal laws require that the dams be dismanteled.
This would be a great harship on the recreational users of these waters and our property values would drastically be reduced (by as much as 50%).
